Police appeal for witnesses after Highbrook crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash on the Southern Motorway, near Highbrook, Auckland.
At about 3pm on April 14, Police and emergency services were called to the crash in the northbound lanes of the motorway at the Highbrook Road interchange.
The crash involved two white coloured vehicles, a van and a car.
A 64-year-old male passenger was taken to Middlemore Hospital with moderate injuries, and died in hospital the following morning.
The Counties Manukau Serious Crash Unit are investigating and are asking for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
Anyone who was in the area and may have seen the two vehicles prior to crash are also urged to contact Police.
