"On behalf of the Regional Council, I express our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of yesterday’s atrocious acts. It is indeed our darkest hour. Canterbury is home to a beautifully diverse population – and we are so much the better for it. And to have one group of our community singled out in this way is truly unfathomable. Our thoughts are with the families and the Muslim community as they hold together, and with the Police and frontline teams who are working tirelessly to respond. We are here and will help in any way we can.
