Motorists to avoid Tongariro Street in Taupo due to incident

Police are in attendance at a family harm incident on Tongariro Street in Taupo.
The incident happened at about 3pm today and Police have concerns for the safety and well-being of a man.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area, as the road is currently blocked between Redoubt Street and Pois Road.
Cordons are in place at the following areas:
Tongariro Street and Spa Street Round-about
Wairakei Drive and Norman Smith Street.
Police would like to thank the public for their patience.
