"Whangarei Police searching for family harm offender"
Police are making enquiries in Woodhill, Whangarei to locate a man involved in a family harm incident this evening.
Police were called to the family harm incident at a residential property on Maunu Road at 6.30pm.
Shortly after, emergency services were notified that the property was on fire.
A search has been undertaken of the property and it is believed that all the occupants of the house have got out safely.
The man involved in the family harm incident is believed to have fled the scene on foot and Police are currently
searching for him.
Maunu Road is closed between Western Hills Drive and Hospital Road, while emergency services work at the scene of the
fire.
