Update - Mangere Bridge shooting incident

Detective Senior Sergeant Warrick Adkin, Counties Manukau West CIB:
Police enquiries are ongoing into the shooting of a man in Mangere Bridge early Sunday morning on Coronation Road.
A male remains in a stable condition in hospital.
A second man also received moderate facial injuries in the same incident.
Police have now completed a scene examination and are currently carrying out a number of enquiries in relation to the offender(s) involved including canvassing CCTV footage in the area.
Police are also continuing with the examination of a number of vehicles located in or around the scene.
Detective Senior Sergeant Warrick Adkin says Police want to hear from anyone who has information about this incident.
“We believe there were a number of people present in the general area around the time that the incident took place, which was reported to Police shortly after 5.30am.
“We urge any witnesses or anyone with information to contact Counties Manukau Police by phoning 09 261 1321 or you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
