Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on Manukau Road, Epsom.
The crash occurred at 4.50pm and initial indications are that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.
The pedestrian is reported to have sustained serious injuries.
Diversions are in place to allow the Serious Crash Unit to examine the crash scene.
Motorists are asked to follow the directions of emergency personnel / signage in the area.
