Body recovered at Whangerei Falls

The Police Dive Squad have today recovered a body at Whangerei Falls.
The body is believed to be that of the swimmer who went under the water and failed to resurface yesterday afternoon.
The scene has been blessed and Whangerei Falls has been reopened to the public.
Police and Victim Support are working with the family of the victim.
