"Appeal for information following Pizza Hut robbery, New Plymouth"

Police are appealing for information following the aggravated robbery of Pizza Hut in Westown, New Plymouth.
At around 7pm last Friday (23rd November) a man entered the restaurant on Tukapa Street armed with a machete.
He threatened a staff member and stole a quantity of cash.
Another staff member had their hand cut by the machete while trying to stop the man.
The man then ran off and got into a light blue Nissan Maxima sedan that was waiting on Sanders Avenue.
The car’s registration number is WS6931.
The man was then dropped on Clawton Street and ran off into an alleyway which comes out on Kenmore Street.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw this car in the area at the time, or anyone who can identify the man in the attached photos.
