"Police appeal for witnesses who saw pedestrian before Rangitata crash"
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the circumstances around a fatal crash between a truck and a pedestrian that occurred this morning.
Police have spoken to people who witnessed the crash, but are interested in hearing about any sightings of a pedestrian on State Highway 1 in the Rangitata area before 9:50am.
Witnesses are asked to contact Timaru Police on (03) 687 9808.
