Police have charged a man following an attempted robbery incident at a premises in Sandringham on 10 November.
A 23-year-old man has been charged with assault with intent to rob.
The man is due to appear at Auckland District Court on 28 November.
“This was a frightening event for those victims involved and we are pleased we have been able to hold the alleged offender to account,” says Detective Sergeant Mark Franich.
As this matter is now before the Courts, we are unable to comment further.
