A man has been found dead after a crash in Southland overnight.
Around 6am, Police received a report that a vehicle had collided with a fence and left the road on the Tuatapere Orepuki
Highway (State Highway 99), south of Jenkins Road.
At this stage it is believed the crash may have happened some time after midnight.
The Serious Crash Unit is investgating.
