Bus crash - Birkenhead

Police and emergency services are responding to an incident on Birkenhead Ave where a bus has crashed into a building shortly before midday.
Three pedestrians have been injured, two of whom are in a moderate condition.
We are unable to confirm the exact nature of the injuries at this stage.
There are no reports of anyone on the bus or inside the building receiving injuries.
Cordons are currently in place on Birkenhead Road at the intersections of Onewa Road and Mokoia Road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
