Police have arrested and charged a 20-year-old man in relation to the aggravated robbery at a dairy in Kakanui, North Otago yesterday.
At 2.55pm the man entered Kakanui Store on High St armed with what was believed to be a firearm.
The man has been charged with aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of ammunition, and will appear in the Dunedin District Court tomorrow morning.
Police would like to thank members of the public for their help with enquiries.
