"Murder charge following Papamoa homicide"
A 22-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a 48-year-old man in Papamoa yesterday.
The man charged was known to the deceased and will be appearing in Tauranga District Court tomorrow.
The Police investigation is ongoing however no-one else is being sought in relation to the death.
Police want to thank residents of Papamoa who have assisted with the investigation and would like to hear from anyone who was walking in the Harding Street area between 7.30am and 9am yesterday.
