"Woman killed, two people in critical condition "
Attribute to Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Anderson:
A woman is dead and two people are in a critical condition after an incident in Ilam Road, Christchurch this evening.
Police were called to the scene at 7.50pm.
The deceased woman and a man were stabbed by a second man.
That man then turned the knife on himself.
Those involved were all known to each other and Police are not seeking anyone else.
A number of cordons are in place around the scene and a scene guard will remain in Ilam Road overnight.
No further information is expected to be available tonight.
