Two people have been arrested following an attempted kidnapping in North Dunedin yesterday.
A 29-year-old male and a 29-year-old female were arrested this morning in relation to the incident and are both due to appear in the Dunedin District Court on Tuesday 14 August on charges of kidnapping and assault with intent to injure.
The victim received minor injuries in the incident.
We thank the members of the public who assisted the police with the investigation.
