"Truck crash, Allandale, Christchurch "
Motorists are asked to avoid Governors Bay Teddington Road, Allandale, Christchurch due to a truck crash.
A truck has gone off the road and the road is blocked.
It is going to take some time to clear the scene as a crane is required to remove the truck.
Governors Bay Teddington Road is expected to be closed for at least six hours due to the crash.
No-one was injured in the crash.
There are no diversions however there is an alternative route over Summit Road.
Please be advised this route will add a considerable amount of time to any journey.
There are power lines in the area of the crash site and due to this power is out to properties in the Allendale area.
