Wellington Police are seeking information from the public following an indecent assault in Upper Hutt yesterday, Wednesday 11 July.
Around 2:30pm a 21-year-old woman was approached by a man while walking along Pine Avenue.
He has indecently assaulted her before running towards Savage Street.
The victim is being provided with support, however Police are calling for two other young women to come forward.
These two women were also walking along Pine Avenue, just ahead of the victim.
The victim has witnessed one of these women being assaulted just prior to the man approaching her.
Police would like to hear from these two women as well as any members of the public that were in the area yesterday afternoon.
The man is described as European, in his 40’s, approximately 185cm tall and of slim build.
He was wearing a dark grey knitted hoodie with dark coloured pants and white shoes and is described as having grey/white facial hair.
