"Police investigate shooting in Melville Hamilton "

Waikato Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Melville, Hamilton, overnight.
A 23-year-old Hamilton man has died and a 20-year-old woman and 17-year-old man, both from Hamilton, are seriously
injured.
Police were called to a Melville address around 1:00am when one of the victims called 111 after a number of shots were
fired inside a house at the address.
The two injured victims were transported to Waikato Hospital.
A scene examination will commence today with scientists from ESR, to work through what took place.
Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to contact the investigation team at the Hamilton Police
station.
