The Rainbow Cable Car

In a world first Drag Artist Queen Olivia St Redfern is reading to children on the historic Wellington Cable Car. Join Queen Olivia on Monday 16 July as she travels a return trip on the historic Wellington Cable Car, while listening to her reading aloud wonderful children’s stories.
Places are limited, bookings are essential. Only 30 places available per session. Everyone travelling on the cable car must register. There are four sessions available – 10.50am, 11.10am, 11.30am, and 11.50am. Book here: https://www.eventfinda.co.nz/2018/the-rainbow-cable-car/wellington
This is a family friendly event, suitable for families with preschool and primary school aged children.
All departures are from the Lambton Quay Cable Car Station. During these events, there will be no room on the Cable Car for children’s buggies and pushchairs. This is a return trip, the cable car will reverse at the Kelburn Station and the stories will continue until the car returns to the Lambton Quay Station. The other cable car will be operating as normal.
This is a free event.
