Man charged in relation to Te Papa incident

A 27-year-old Wellington man is due to reappear in court next month in relation to an incident at Te Papa Museum in Wellington last week.
An item of concern was located in a loading dock and reported to Police around 6pm on Friday, June 8.
Te Papa management evacuated the museum as a precaution.
The man appeared in Wellington District Court yesterday, June 12, charged with wilful damage and with burglary.
He was remanded on bail to reappear on July 2.
