Police have arrested a second man in relation to the aggravated robbery of Magpies Bar in King Street, Hastings on 1 June.
The 31-year-old Hastings man was arrested in Wellington yesterday, and appeared in Wellington District Court today on charges of aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm.
A 32-year-old Hastings man who Police took into custody on the day of the robbery is also facing a charge of aggravated robbery.
He is remanded in custody and is due to appear in Hastings District Court again on 26 June.
