A 27-year-old man was arrested yesterday in relation to an aggravated robbery of the Avenue Dairy on Fitzgerald Avenue, Saturday 19 May.
The man appeared in Christchurch District Court this morning, 22 May, and has pleaded guilty to Aggravated Robbery.
This is a great result for the community.
Police want to reassure the community that Police do not tolerate this type of offending, and we are committed to making sure people are held accountable for their actions.
The victim has been interviewed and she is receiving support.
The 27-year-old man will be sentenced later in 2018.
