"Police appeal for witnesses following fatal crash in Forrest Hill"
Attribute to Senior Constable Bryan Hensley, Waitemata Police:
Waitemata Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Forrest Hill on Thursday 10th May.
The crash involved a powder blue Toyota Vitz and an elderly pedestrian and took place around 5.52pm at Forrest Hill Road, south of Blakeborough Drive.
The vehicle was travelling south on Forrest Hill Road when the crash occurred as the pedestrian was crossing the road.
This incident is being examined by the Serious Crash Unit and as part of our ongoing enquiries Police want to hear from any witnesses who saw the incident occur.
