"Arrest following burglaries in Marlborough "
To be attributed to Detective Sergeant Lindsay Tilbury:
A 43-year-old Marlborough man has been charged with burglary, theft, cultivation of cannabis and unlawful possession of ammunition following a search warrant in Renwick yesterday.
He was arrested in relation to burglaries that have occurred in Renwick and Springlands over the past six weeks.
He has been held in Police custody and will appear in the Blenheim District Court on Monday 23 April 2018.
Police would like to thank the public for their help on this matter.
It is also a timely reminder for people to check that their vehicles, garages and sheds are locked, particularly at night.
