The Parade draft concept designs now online
Draft concept designs for The Parade in Island Bay are now online at transportprojects.org.nz for people to take a look at.
These plans reflect the redesign proposal that was agreed by Wellington City Councillors in September 2017.
Work on the Parade is expected to begin later this year and to be completed by mid-2019.
In the meantime, anyone who has information or suggestions that they think could assist the designers during the
detailed design phase can provide their thoughts at any stage by emailing transport@wcc.govt.nz
Further community engagement and discussion will also happen later in the year around opportunities for public space
enhancements in the town centre and along the bike paths.
