"Serious crash north of Waiouru "
Emergency services are attending a crash involving a car and a truck on the Desert Rd (SH1).
Initial reports from the scene suggest one person is critical and another person is in a serious condition.
Police were called to the crash, between Waipakihi Rd and Rangipo Intake Rd, at 3.27pm.
Emergency services are still at the scene.
