"Man run over at low speed in Winton"
A 20-year-old man has had surgery in Southland Hospital and is being flown to Dunedin Hospital, after being run over early this morning.
It happened just before 4am on the Winton-Hedgehope Highway, north of Norman Road.
A group of young people were being dropped off after returning from a private function.
The 20-year-old has got out of the van and been run over at low speed.
The driver is speaking with Police and no one else is being sought.
