Vector the Company with the Highest Complaints in New Zealand
Hopefully someone in New Zealand will help fight back against this NZX listed bully boy company and expose their practices in bullying ratepayers and private home owners as they drop their intrusive electrical infrastructure outside people's home's.
We have been in a 9 month dispute with Vector over a condemned Electricity Pole, where amongst other things Vector have threatened;
- to block us building our family home by placing this condemned pole in the way of our required driveway, even though we have a Resource Consent approaching approval at Auckland Council to build our home on our land, unless we accepted this large transformer
-seek to place a ground transformer unreasonably 3.5m across in front of our property boundary on the berm, starting unreasonably 1.5m inside our berm boundary even though we had written confirmation from Vector to place this pole and transformer at the other boundary.
This morning Vector called the police on us when we did not allow access to complete this work to place a ground transformer well in front of our property. They are coming back tomorrow morning 22 March 730am 2018 55 Nihill Cres Mission Bay.
We have an active complaint open at the Electricity Commissioner about this condemned pole and transformer which Vector seek to circumvent this by completing this work before a commissioner decision.
Vector have told us many time we have no rights, and they can do whatever they want. This is the approach for Vector to bully ratepayers and home owners of Auckland.
We have heard similar stories across the city. How many others are affected like this?
Vector was the worst performer among lines companies in the following article with 31 complaints, and that was a high number of complaints relative to the size of its market share.

Vector’s approach is to bully people and tell them people have no rights and they can do whatever they want.
Vector are returning at 7:30am tomorrow to complete this ground transformer placement you are welcome to attend or write about this. There are many others throughout Auckland in our situation we heard about One Tree Hill residents.
Come on New Zealand media - help the little people expose these big company bully boy practices.
