"Young girl hit by train in Ngaruawahia"
Police are currently in attendance after an 11-year-old girl was hit by a train on a railway bridge in Ngaruawahia
around 6:00pm this evening.
The young girl died at the scene.
Police are providing support to her family and the train driver at this time.
Her death will be referred to the Coroner.
