"Police seeking vehicle following Napier incident "
Police are seeking public help to locate a car involved in a dispute in Napier today.
At around 4.20pm two people had a dispute over the sale of a vehicle.
As a result of this dispute two vehicles were driven recklessly through central Napier to Clive, it appears one vehicle was chasing the other.
At times the vehicles collided.
Of particular concern to Police is that the vehicles were driven onto the footpath in central Napier at one point, endangering pedestrians.
Thankfully no injuries have been reported.
The incident ended on Main Road in Clive when one of the vehicles stopped.
The driver of that vehicle is currently being spoken to.
Police are searching for the second vehicle, a 1999 green or blue Honda Accord with the registration plate YS5189.
The car will have visible panel damage and a missing bumper.
Anyone who has seen the car or has information that could help is being urged to contact the Napier Central Police Station on 06 831 0700 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
