Owner of safe containing cash located

Police have identified and located the owner of a safe containing cash that was found during an inorganic rubbish
collection in Hillsborough.
The safe contained a sum of cash that was handed into the Otahuhu Police station on Wednesday 7 March, 2018 and police
are in the process of returning the cash to the rightful owner.
Police will be making ongoing enquiries over the coming days to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
