Police investigating Wainuiomata homicide continue to appeal for information
Police investigating a homicide in Wainuiomata remain in the neighbourhood as inquiries continue into the death of 40 year old Paul TeHiko.
Police continue to search the area surrounding the scene where Mr TeHiko’s body was found late on March 7, assisted by specialists and search experts.
The area remains cordoned off.
“We continue to door-knock residents in the area, and we are still urging locals and any witnesses to contact Police if they saw or heard anything late on Wednesday, March 7,” says Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Sears.
“We are particularly interested in sightings of any persons or vehicles in the area.
If you are aware of or have any CCTV, please also let us know.
“We are not yet able to confirm if Mr TeHiko’s death is gang related.
It’s important that if you have any information at all, please contact us.”
