Please attribute to Detective Senior Sergeant Glenn Baldwin:
The investigation into a Grey Lynn address where two people were found deceased on Tuesday 6 March, 2018 is continuing.
The post mortem and formal identification process has now been completed for the man and woman who were found at the scene.
We are now in a position to release their names.
Police can confirm the woman was that of missing Auckland woman, 39-year-old Tania Ellwood.
A male who was also found deceased at the scene has been identified as 36-year-old Timothy Kerr Hamilton of Auckland.
The pair were known to each other and police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the matter.
Police would still like to hear from anyone who may have seen or had contact with Tania Ellwood or Timothy Kerr after 11am on Wednesday 28 February.
Police are investigating this matter and are still working to establish what has occurred at the address.
