Police attending firearms incident in Ahipara

Police are currently responding to an incident where a male has been sighted with a firearm in Ahipara, Northland.
Multiple shots have reportedly been fired at a property, however no one is injured.
Police are deploying a number of resources to manage the incident including the Armed Offenders Squad and Eagle.
Ahipara School has gone into lockdown as a precaution.
The offender remains outstanding and there is no further information available at this stage.
