Aggravated robbery, Hamilton

Detective Sergeant Andre Kavanagh:
Hamilton Police are investigating the aggravated robbery of the Deanwell Superette on Deanwell Avenue this morning.
At approximately 6:55am three people entered the store armed with a large knife and a hammer.
They arrived in a stolen red Mazda Demio driven by a fourth person.
The Demio was stolen from a Plunket Terrace address overnight.
The store manager saw them arrive and locked himself in a back room.
The trio stole a large quantity of cigarettes and a number of smaller items.
The offenders fled the scene in the stolen vehicle which has since been recovered from Montgomery Crescent in Bader.
The vehicle was seized by Police and will be forensically examined.
Hamilton Police would like to hear from anyone who can identify any of the offenders pictured or provide any information about the robbery.
