SH1 closed near Timaru following crash
State Highway One south of Timaru is closed following a crash between a bus and a car.
Police were called to the crash at the intersection with Ellis Road, Salisbury, at approximately 6:50am.
One person has received serious injuries.
There were no passengers on the bus.
The Serious Crash Unit is headed to the scene and the road is closed.
Diversions are in place, but we ask that motorists are patient if they expect delays.
