Crash south of Sanson, Manawatu District

"Crash south of Sanson, Manawatu District"
Emergency services are responding to a crash on State Highway 1, approximately 10km south of Sanson.
The crash occurred at 4.45pm and is believed to have involved a car and a logging truck.
There is no information as yet regarding the number of people involved or the extent of injuries.
The road is blocked.
Traffic diversions are currently in place at the intersections of State Highway 1 / Taikorea Road and State Highway 1 / Milner Road.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
More information will be released as soon it becomes available.
