"Fatal crash in Whakamarama, Western Bay of Plenty"
One person is dead and three others injured following a crash between two vehicles on State Highway 2 in Whakamarama
last night.
Emergency services were called to the crash between a car and a van around 11:40pm.
One person died at the scene and three others were transported to Tauranga hospital with serious injuries.
Serious Crash Unit are investigating.
