"Update - Body found in Tutira, Hawke's Bay"
Attributable to Eastern District Field Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Mike Foster:
Hawke’s Bay Police are investigating the unexplained death of a man discovered in Tutira.
The man’s body was found on the side of Matahourua Road today by a passing motorist at around 9.30am.
A scene examination is being carried out as well as a formal identification process.
A post-mortem is expected to be carried out tomorrow.
Anyone who was in the Matahourua Road/Shine Falls area over the weekend or this morning is being urged to contact Hawke’s Bay Police (06) 873 0531.
