"Female critical after Leamington crash"
The Police Serious Crash Unit is investigating after a female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Leamington, in the Waipa District, this evening.
Police were notified around 7:30pm of the incident on Bracken Street, which remains closed to traffic currently.
The female was transported to Waikato Hospital in a critical conditon.
Police are speaking with the driver of the vehicle.
