Serious crash in Timaru near Kerrytown

"Serious crash in Timaru near Kerrytown - diversions in place"
Police and emergency services are in attendance at a serious crash near Kerrytown, Timaru near the intersection of SH1 and Arowhenua Station Road.
One person is critically injured after a car and van collided at around 2.30pm today.
Traffic has been diverted from the scene, so motorists are asked to drive carefully and follow the diversions.
The Police Serious Crash Unit are investigating and thank motorists for their patience at this time.
