Car found in search for missing man David Fountain
The car belonging to missing 42-year-old man David Fountain has been located in the Pukaki Ohau Canal, near Twizel.
He was last seen at the Top Hut Hotel in Twizel on Sunday morning 20 August, at approximately 1am.
His grey Nissan Primera was discovered by the Police National Dive Squad, and was retrieved from the water last night.
Divers will continue to search the canal today.
Police continue to seek sightings of Mr Fountain.
