Arrest following kidnapping of taxi driver in Wellington
Wellington Police have made an arrest following the kidnapping and serious assault of a taxi driver in the wider Ngauranga area yesterday morning.
A 24-year-old Auckland man was arrested today and is speaking with Police in relation to the incident.
A second person remains outstanding however Police are following strong lines of inquiry.
The taxi driver remains in hospital and is recovering from his injuries.
