Information sought following hit and run in Porirua
Porirua Police are seeking sightings of a dark coloured station wagon following a hit and run this morning.
A cyclist riding on Calliope Crescent, Cannons Creek shortly after 6am has been struck by a car and suffered serious injuries.
The car involved has left the scene of the crash which happened near the intersection with Castor Crescent.
Police believe the vehicle involved would have suffered damage to the front headlight and also possibly to the bumper.
Police would like to hear from the driver of the car or anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
Also if anyone has information in regard to a dark coloured station wagon that has been damaged recently please get in touch.
