Fatal crash in Bunnythorpe, near Palmerston North
Police are currently responding to a fatal crash between a car and a truck at the intersection of Ashhurst and Watershed Roads, Bunnythorpe, near Palmerston North.
Police were called to the crash just before 10:30am and discovered a man in the car had sustained critical injuries, unfortunately this man has since died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating and Ashhurst Road is closed and will be for some time.
There are diversions in place at Kelvin Grove Road and Grove Road.
Also at the Watershed Road and Reid Line East intersection.
