Hawke's Bay Police appealing for information following burglary
Hawke's Bay Police would like assistance from the public to locate a number of items taken from an address in the Tamatea area yesterday.
The burglary took place sometime between 8am and 4pm.
A large quantity of food was taken from a freezer, as well as two placentas that were stored inside.
The placentas were being kept in the freezer for whanau while a decision was being made as to where they would be buried.
The placentas were stored in white containers, similar to a 2 litre ice cream container, and the names of who they belonged to were written on the front.
The whanau would love to get these precious items back, and Police ask that anyone who may be able to assist in finding them please get in touch immediately.
Information can be given to the Hawke’s Bay Police on 06 831 0700, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
