UPDATE - search for missing driver in Taranaki
Police have today suspended the search for Karl Roberts, who has not been seen since Tuesday 1 August.
It is believed Mr Roberts lost control of his vehicle on Uruti Road in Uruti, New Plymouth on Tuesday and it has slid down a bank.
Following extensive searches on both Wednesday and today, Police have suspended the physical search for Mr Roberts, however enquiries will continue to establish his whereabouts.
Police would like to thank everyone who has assisted in searching for Mr Roberts, especially Taranaki Land SAR Volunteers, Taranaki Rescue Helicopter and members of the rural community.
Police would like to hear from anyone that may have seen or has had contact with Mr Roberts since the vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon.
Anyone with information or possible sightings is asked to contact New Plymouth Police on 06 759 5500.
