"UPDATE: Search for missing driver in Taranaki"
An extensive search of the area where 31-year-old Karl Roberts’ crashed vehicle was located on Uruti Road, Taranaki, yesterday afternoon, has been carried out today.
The whereabouts of Mr Roberts is still unknown as Police enquires into what has happened continue.
Taranaki Land SAR volunteers, Taranaki Rescue Helicopter, Police and family and friends of Mr Roberts have assisted in searching for him today.
As time goes on Police’s concerns for Mr Roberts' wellbeing increase.
Police are seeking assistance from members of the public who may have seen Mr Roberts or may know of his whereabouts.
People with information can contact New Plymouth Police on 06 759 5500.
A further search of the area in Uruti will be carried out tomorrow by Land SAR volunteers and Police.
