With a line, well and truly formed by 8am, snow enthusiasts grabbed a spot early, guaranteeing them fresh lines in the Home Basin.
Everyone wanting to be the first on their favourite trails, and getting reunited with all Treble Cone has to offer. The early birds were rewarded with the Treble Cone classic sunrise over-looking Lake Wanaka as well as the first 30 people receiving their own TC Season Survival packs – Full of goodies to help them during the next three months.
Big smiles and happy riders all around with the Saddle Basin opening at 10am, with skiers and snowboarders having more of the mountain to enjoy.
The 2017 season was officially welcomed with the annual Amisfield Bubbles Toast in the Plaza, bringing great vibes and well wishes to the upcoming season. TC Cat was entertaining all welcoming everyone to the first lift.
“What a wonderful day to mark this special occasion and welcome everyone to the 2017 season. It was fantastic to see so many of our loyal guests arrive early to make the most of their day,” commented Jackie van der Voort, CEO, Treble Cone.
